On September 23rd, the 5th National Vocational Skills Competition in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry came to an end in Nanjing, and a contestant from Liaoyang Petrochemical Company, representing China National Petroleum Corporation, won the first place in the chemical maintenance fitter team.

The National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Vocational Skills Competition is the highest competition in the petroleum and petrochemical industry, and has been successfully held for four sessions. The competition is hosted by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, with only one major of chemical maintenance fitters. 57 participants from 19 large enterprises, including China Petroleum, Sinopec, CNOOC, and China Shenhua Group, participated in the competition. The competition is divided into four matches: professional theory, mechanical drawing, panel making, and pump maintenance. Among them, the production of H-shaped plates in the plate making competition is the most difficult among the three sets of candidate topics, which tests the precision fit of the twelve surfaces of the plates and the filing processing ability of the contestants.

After three days of intense competition, three contestants from Liaoyang Petrochemical Company won first place, third place, and fifth place in their personal total score. The achievements and abilities of Chinese petroleum players have been fully recognized by the competition organizing committee and other participating teams.
